Which series and events do you support?
JDR supports cars in the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC), Britcar Endurance, and a range of historic and demonstration events including the Goodwood Members’ Meeting and Goodwood Revival. The team also supports cars at events across Europe and worldwide.
What types of car do you prepare and run?

Do I have to take a full season package or can I use JDR for a single event?
JDR works flexibly with customers depending on what their campaign requires. Whether you need full season support, targeted trackside backup for a specific event, or workshop preparation only, the team will put together a package to match your needs.
What does a full race preparation package include?
A full JDR campaign package covers everything from pre-season preparation and setup through to transportation, trackside engineering, data analysis and post-event work. The aim is to handle every aspect of your campaign so you can focus entirely on your driving.

How do I get a quote for a wiring project?

Do you work on historic and classic cars?
Yes. The JDR team has extensive experience working on historic and classic vehicles and understands the specific challenges involved, including working with original manufacturer connectors and period-correct components where required.
Can you work on road cars as well as race cars?
Yes. While JDR’s core expertise is in motorsport and competition vehicles, the team works on track day cars, high performance road cars and specialist vehicles across a range of applications.
Do you carry out batch wiring and assembly work?
Yes. Alongside bespoke one-off projects, the JDR team also carries out batch wiring and assembly work for a range of applications across motorsport, automotive and other industries. If you have a recurring or volume wiring requirement, get in touch to discuss what the team can offer.
What wiring and electronics services does JDR offer?
JDR provides end-to-end wiring and electronics services including wiring loom design, manufacture and assembly, engine and chassis loom builds for competition and road vehicles, ECU programming and setup, Power Distribution Module (PDM) installation and configuration, fault diagnosis, rewiring and loom modification, and batch wiring and assembly for volume or recurring applications.
Historic and Classic Cars
Do you offer restoration as well as preparation?
Yes. JDR can restore a race car back to its period specification, including sourcing or manufacturing obsolete parts and returning it to its original livery where required.
Can you help get a historic car back into competition or on display at events?
Yes. JDR regularly attends prestigious historic motorsport events including the Goodwood Members’ Meeting and Goodwood Revival, and has the experience, contacts and logistical capability to get your car to the right events in the right condition.
Do you work exclusively on historic and classic competition cars?

Can I visit the workshop?
Yes. Get in touch to arrange a visit. The JDR facility in Essex houses both the race preparation workshop and the dedicated electronics and wiring facility.
Do you transport cars to events?
Yes. Transportation and logistics are included as part of a full campaign package, and JDR has the equipment and experience to move cars to events across the UK and Europe.
